WHAT - To help young students begin the 2023-24 school year on the right foot, Nassau County Legislator Siela A. Bynoe (D - Westbury), Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and Town of North Hempstead Councilman Robert Troiano are partnering with the Nassau County Police Benevolent Association (PBA) to present “The Road to Success” back-to-school events at Westbury’s Martin ‘Bunky’ Reid Park on Saturday, Aug. 19.
The event, which is presented with support from the Nassau County Detectives Association (DAI), Nassau County Superior Officers Association (SOA), Nassau County Police Department Foundation and additional community partners, features free school supplies (while supplies last), free food and refreshments and additional family-friendly attractions for all to enjoy.
