(GLEN COVE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) had the privilege of serving as a guest reader at the Glen Cove City School District’s Gribbon Elementary School on Tuesday, March 4 – joining a group of business leaders, community members and other school family members in reading to students during the Pick a Reading Partner (PARP) event.

“As a graduate of Glen Cove schools myself, it is always wonderful to have a chance to take part in a program that encourages our young people to develop a lifelong love for reading,” Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton said. “I had such a great time with the students at the Gribbon Elementary School and I thank them all for having me be a part of their special day!”
