(MERRICK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined the community in welcoming Ron Segev, a survivor and hero of the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist assault and invasion of Israel, to an audience of more than 100 gathered at the Merrick Jewish Centre on Wednesday, June 5.
“During the hellish Oct 7 Hamas attack on the Nova music festival, Ron’s quick thinking and selfless instincts led him to save the lives of his brother and nine more innocent people,” Legislator Koslow said. “As he shared his harrowing experience, he helped us all bear witness through his eyes and inspired us with his remarkable grace, mercy and optimism. His persistence gives me hope and reaffirms the resilience of the Jewish people and our nation. Am Y’Israel Chai!”
