(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Freeport) visited the leaders of the Moore 4 You Community Development Center in Freeport on Thanksgiving Day for their annual “Giving U Moore” celebration. The event is held for anyone in need of a meal and companionship on Thanksgiving, and included wellness activities and giveaways of toiletries for guests. “For many people, the holiday season can be emotionally taxing and potentially isolating time of year, and the Moore 4 You Community Development Center provided a tremendous service this Thanksgiving by hosting this celebration,” Legislator Koslow said. “Their efforts epitomize the spirit of the season, and it was inspiring to see so many stepping up to lend a hand to those in need. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible!”
