(MINEOLA, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) supported the Office of New York Attorney General Letitia James at its Deed Theft and Foreclosure Prevention Educational Panel and Resource Fair at the Nassau County Bar Association in Mineola on Saturday, March 1. The bilingual event connected attendees with critical resources and information for protecting their homes from housing counseling and legal services organizations and a panel discussion featuring housing and legal experts.
“With such a high cost of living, owning a home in Nassau County is challenging enough – and that’s before unscrupulous individuals try to exploit families who are facing challenges,” Legislator Koslow said. “I thank Attorney General James, the Nassau Bar Association and all of the organizations that provided their expertise for this impactful event and made it a success.”
